- Every cable has 2 wires. Connect red to red and black to black.
- Where the lights meet, the 3 reds join and the 3 blacks join.
- The yellow block is the 5A fuse on the red wire.

The F-Series 12" Light is a dual-color 12V LED light with bright 4000K white and red in one slim fixture. Use white to find gear or work late. Switch to red to keep your night vision or draw fewer bugs.
Built-in buttons turn it on and change the color, so you don't need a separate switch. It's weatherproof (IP54) and built for trucks, campers, trailers and vans, inside or out.
It comes with 3M VHB tape and screws, so you can mount it either way. Search Mounts (sold separately) let you turn it 360°.
It runs on 12V DC and draws 0.3 amps at full brightness. Add a Kingpin dimmer to set the brightness. One switch runs up to eight 12" lights.

Up to 2× 40", 4× 28" or 8× 12" lights per switch. Each switch handles 3 amps, so add up the amps: F-40 is 1.1, F-28 is 0.7, F-12 is 0.3.
Yes. Kingpin lights are a universal fit, and they mount inside or outside (weatherproof, IP54). Each one comes with 3M VHB tape and screws. Measure the spot first. F-Series lights are true to length: the 12" light is 12" from end to end. The screw holes sit about ¼" to ⅜" in from each end. On Search Mounts, each bracket is 4" long, and the light is about 1" longer and 1.375" tall.
No. A thick, diffused lens spreads the light evenly, so there are no bright hot spots and no harsh glare. It's easy to work under and easy to be around at camp.
It's very efficient: 0.3 amps at full brightness. Run it for hours off your starting battery and still start up and leave.
Yes. It's weatherproof (IP54): dust-protected and splash-proof from any direction. Don't submerge it.
The light comes with 3M VHB tape and screws, so you can use either one. Search Mounts (360° rotation) are sold separately. Add them above, or get the F-Series 12" Light Kit.
No. Tape and screws come in the box. The 3M VHB tape holds on glass, topper doors and smooth panels if you prep the spot: clean it, scuff it lightly, wipe it with rubbing alcohol, then wipe on 3M Primer 94. Most toppers also have a reinforced ceiling for mounting lights. Carpet-lined caps have plywood under the carpet, so use the screws there.
No. On F-Series lights, color is set on the light. Turn the light on and pick white or red with its buttons. The dimmer then turns it on, off and dims it in that color. To switch colors, press the button on the light.
Any 12V DC source works, like a power station's 12V outlet. Most USB ports are 5V, so they won't run the light. Some higher-power USB ports may work, but we don't recommend it.

These things are just what I’ve been looking for. I’m not much for reviews unless something is really that great and let me tell you, these lights are it! Super bright for how small they are and having the switch and light controls built in is super handy. Will definitely get more at some point, probably bigger, definitely a must have for a truck/outdoor enthusiast!

Fun Project. I used full loom wire protector and installed a 6 way fused terminal block with an integrated ground. This made it easy to install a USB charger with a battery monitor at the same time, on a separate circuit. I'm also planning on using another circuit for custom lock actuators for my diamondback cover.

Awesome light I installed this one in my Side x side and its awesome in fact I bought another one to but in the back seat and they work very well. I also bought the mounts so that we can turn them or roll them for more light as we need it.

Frankly, I’m always a little shocked (no pun intended) when I wire up something with half a dozen connections and it works the first time. Anyhoo - wired up a little Kingpin strip to light up the interior and I’m digging it. I had previously bought an AIGMUX dome light thing and it was decent, but wanted a bit more oomph. Since the Kingpin is wired into the 12v cig lighter, it only works when the vehicle is on, but figured that’s fine - the AigMux gives enough light when it’s off. Cool thing about the Kingpin is that the V version has a red light option. Some install pics below.
I needed some light for my bed rack and the Kingpin F-Series 12" light was just the right size. I pop riveted some magnets to the mounts and just stuck it to the rack. Works great and provides a lot of light.

Well built and easy install. If mounting to a non flat surface like a roll bar, gotta get creative. We will buy more if offered in a mid length size. 12” too short and the large too big. Paging R&D. So far so good.

The 12” light is pretty nice, for the price I would expect the swivel mounts to come with it. The cable is shorter than expected also and with no ends on it, a 12v plug would be nice. The white light is nice, not as bright as expected compared to other lights I have, the red is more of a pink than red. I don’t know that I would buy again.
