How to install

Plan the route from the battery to the switch. Zip-tie it along the frame.

Join the bare end to the switch's power end: red to red, black to black.

Last, bolt the ring terminals to the battery: red (fused) to +, black to −.

Easily add 5 Amps of 12-volt power up to 25 Feet from your automotive battery with the Kingpin Power Supply Kit.
This universal kit will get power to back of any size truck or SUV and works great in vans, trailers, and boats.
Includes high quality cable and components and weather-tight ring terminals for easy connection to most standard automotive batteries.
A standard 5 Amp automotive fuse comes pre-loaded in the fuse holder. It can be removed and resized as needed.
The high-quality 14AWG 2-conductor wire harness is protected with a durable outer covering for the first 6FT providing ultimate protection and a clean appearance.
The included zip ties allow you to securely fasten the wires neatly along your frame or whatever.

Since the included fuse in this harness is rated to 5A, consider your peak continuous power draw (how many lights will be on at once). Example: (1x) F-Series 40" draws 1.1Amps
Good questions, short answers
It reaches from the battery to the bed on most trucks and SUVs. Measure your route first, along the path you'll zip-tie to.
A standard automotive fuse. It comes with a 5A fuse in the holder, enough for 1 switch fully loaded (3 A). Running more lights? Size the fuse to your total amps.
Ring terminals bolt to the battery. The other end is bare wire: join it to the switch's power end, red to red, black to black.
Up to 3 amps of lights: 2× 40", 4× F-28, 8× F-12 or 6× V-12. You can mix F- and V-Series, just add up the amps: F-40 1.1, F-28 0.7, F-12 0.3, V-40 1.4, V-12 0.5.
Any 12V DC source works, like a power station's 12V outlet. Most USB ports are 5V, so they won't run the light. Some higher-power USB ports may work, but we don't recommend it.
